Luna's 2015 Tournament Schedule!
Our spring season is just around the corner and we'll be traveling around to various tournaments around the southern United States. Here is our official tournament schedule for Spring 2015:
Florida Winter Classic (January 17-18, Orlando, FL)
Moonlight Invite (February 21-22, Atlanta, GA)
Centex (March 21-22, Austin, TX)
Southern Appalachian Conference Championships (TBD)
Southeast Regional Championships* (TBD) [Have to qualify]
We begin at FWC in Orlando. The tournament is usually in Gainesville, so the move means a little more driving, but we'll see more new teams than we typically do. FWC pretty much always begins the spring for us and always coincides with soririty recruitment weekend, so we are missing some people. But it is Lina's first FWC ever!
Second up is Moonlight Invite!!! This is our second annual home tournament and we are so unspeakably pumped about making it bigger and better. We are super excited for some traveling teams to join us, like George Washington and Miami University, plus our good friends, Georgia, are joining us this year. Spin's sponsoring.
Third is CENTEX! It has been many years since Luna has traveled to Texas for the country's biggest tournament. This is the first time ever for anybody on this Luna to fly together to a tourney and a lot of the Southeast will be there. So many teams from all over the country come for the competition and the community. Keep an eye out for our entry to the annual dance contest!
After that, it is on to the College Series, our version of the playoffs. We want to win our Conference for the first time ever!
We might add another tournament to the schedule between Moonlight Invite and Centex, so stay stuned. But this is an awesome schedule and we're glad you'll be following along with the Luna season!
